Self-leadership is the practice of understanding who you are, identifying your desired experiences, and intentionally guiding yourself toward them. It spans the determination of what we do, why we do it, and how we do it.

The term ‘self-leadership’ first emerged from Charles C. Manz.

    Mindfulness for an inner leader is present moment awareness of inner experience with openness and non judgment, enabling calm, values-based responses.

  • Job crafting: Job crafting is the process of proactively adjusting aspects of your job so that it better fits your strengths, interests, and values, often to make work more meaningful and motivating.

The Experience Behind the Strategy
Leigh brings 15+ years of experience supporting entrepreneurs, grassroots innovators, and Fortune 500 companies, including Microsoft, TELUS, and TD. Her signature approach—Inside-Out Branding—was born from a career spent at the intersection of marketing, leadership development, change management, and EDI. She specializes in helping leaders find the clarity and confidence they need to attract the right connections and build a lasting legacy under their own name recognition.

Forbes Impact Top 10 recipient and a Women on Microsoft award winner, Leigh is also recognized as an EDI subject matter expert by Statistics Canada. When she isn’t coaching leaders, she teaches Business and Digital Marketing at York University and the University of Guelph-Humber, or mentors the next generation of innovators at B-Local OntarioRiseYSpace and The Prosperity Project.
